The gang is getting back together for a group photo show this Saturday, June 8.
We’re taking over the SOMA StrEatfood Park! Join us for a celebration of visual art, music and food. Six local photographers will be showing off some of their finest work in a creative outdoor gallery, opening at 7pm. Music will start at noon and delicious food and drink will be available all day. Come celebrate life in the Bay Area by eating, drinking, dancing, and supporting talented local artists!

Photographing Kevin Saunderson on the main stage and last day of 2012′s Detroit Electronic Music Festival was both a personal and professional highlight for me. The crowd was putty in Kevin’s hands as he mastered crushing techno for 90 minutes. I’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story. Spoiler alert – I had a press pass and it was everything I hoped it would be.

I am reliving raveriffic and dancetastic memories at least year’s Detroit Electronic Music Festival. The KMS 25th Anniversary party featured an jaw-dropping lineup of Detroit heavyweights, including Inner City and a tag team set between Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May. Last year I partnered with beatsme to photograph the Detroit Electronic Music Festival. The world famous techno festival is held every year on Memorial Day weekend. As the next event is fast approaching, I wanted to spend a few days on my blog highlighting some of my favorite photos of DEMF 2012. Below are some images I shot of dancers on the first day.
