how weird street fair

What is How Weird? It’s when San Francisco shuts down a few downtown blocks to traffic, so people can wear costumes and dance in the streets. The reason? Is it a holiday? No, we just like to get our beats and freak on.

I am bubbling over with excitement about my new photo project and wanted to share a few teaser photos. More details to come, including a group photography show – my first!

Strangers & Acquaintances hosted a post-Sunset party after that fateful picnic, a dance-rific way to wind down the weekend with some of my favorite DJs.

pulse generator: JAK

Pulse Generator recently welcomed former San Franciscan and now Portlandian JAK to our techno night. I have never seen a DJ dance so much behind the decks as I did during his set and it was refreshing to say the least. The energy was infectious and he truly played some swinging techno. An all around incredible night as our residents hopped along with the bumping vibe.
